As we wrap up another successful season of Echo Aquatics I want to take time to thank all of you who have supported continued growth and service to Fresno High School (FHS) Aquatics Athletes through your participation in the club programs. Our high school athletes benefit from community support through program fees, sponsorships, and job opportunities.
Without the support of our community the Fresno High School program would not be the same. Here are only a few of the benefits and opportunities our athletes have had the good fortune to experience.
CSUF Women’s Water Polo Camp 2018 and 2019 -Eleven FHS student athletes sponsored to participate at the cost of $3000.00.
Skills Workshop 2020 by Jamie Hipp, Olympic Water Polo goalie and Fresno native, held exclusively for FHS athletes at a cost of $1800.00
The Summer 2021 club team participated in a Santa Cruz tournament for athletes 18 yrs. and younger.
This year fifteen FHS Aquatics athletes were trained as certified swim instructors and lifeguards making them eligible for jobs with the City of Fresno Parks and Recreation as well as Echo Aquatics swim and water aerobics instructors.
Sponsorships in 2021 were provided for club dues for 15 FHS student athletes, 11 children in swim lessons, 13 children in Splash Ball.
Our adult water aerobics classes were a huge success with over 25 adults from the FHS neighborhood and beyond.
In addition to these experiences your support provides many essentials for FHS water polo and swim athletes that they may not otherwise be able to access. A few examples include: swimsuits and caps, towels, parkas, backpacks, school supplies, and basic after swim hygiene products. Also, basic program equipment is supplemented. Last but never least to hungry athletes, food, lots of food following morning practices before school, healthy snacks following afternoon practice, and team dinners.
Again, a giant thank you to all of you, my family, coaches, fellow FHS alumni, and the student athletes, for all you’ve done through Echo Aquatics as a community to positively impact the high school program here at Fresno High.

As always, Proud to be a Warrior.
