Learn the Basics of Water Polo with our Splash Ball Program

Think your child may have a passion for water polo but you’re not sure? Test their interest with our Splash Ball program at Echo Aquatics! Splash Ball is the “little kid” version of water polo where athlete’s typically fall between ages 5-11.

Unlike traditional water polo, athletes can stand on the bottom of the pool and are not required to be able to swim fluently. The splash ball experience opens up young athletes to gaining fundamental knowledge of the game and improves their swimming skills, while having fun with other kids their age. We think of splash ball as a fun way to get kids hooked on the game at an early age.

See our Splash Ball FAQ here.

Fresno High Aquatics athletes coach our splash ball sessions. We do this for three reasons:

  1. Younger kids often look up to older kids and want to be around them.

  2. It helps the high school athletes gain a better understanding of the game of water polo more deeply, while also gaining confidence in coaching.

  3. It gives the Fresno High athletes the opportunity to earn extra money and build a strong work ethic while continuing to play sports during high school.
